Vega is well-known for his work on Cleveland’s Guitarmania project, displaying vibrant and eclectic guitar sculptures throughout greater Cleveland. He is also known for his cityscape collages for local communities like Cleveland, Cleveland Heights, Lakewood, and Ohio City, as well as his prominent outdoor sculpture installations throughout Cleveland’s UH and MetroHealth Hospital campuses. Vega’s work is recognizable by its bold and daring use of colors and geometric patterns, which he says are intended to pay homage to his roots in the colorful and picturesque Gurabo, Puerto Rico.
