Complicating their relationship is a host of eccentric and hilarious cruise ship characters – from the cynical and quirky Sweeney couple; to Johnny’s dominating and diva-like mother, Mrs. Van Mier; to the wacky novelist Spencer Bollard and her wide-eyed niece Nancy.
