Presented in collaboration with OHIO SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL, Baskerville is a new tour de force by Coach House favorite Ken Ludwig (Lend Me a Tenor, Leading Ladies, The Fox on the Fairway) in which five actors play over 40 different roles in a comic sendup of the great detective's most famous case. Baskerville stars MARK STOFFER as Sherlock Holmes and SCOTT SHRINER as Doctor Watson. And playing a head-spinningly huge number of roles each are TESS BURGLER, GEOFF KNOX* and JOE PINE. Burgler, Knox and Pine will inhabit the large roster of colorful and crucial supporting characters in the story, from Inspector Lestrade of Scotland Yard to a Texas heir, from a sexy nurse to a Castilian hotel desk clerk. The show is directed by Coach House Artistic Director NANCY CATES**, a veteran helmer of many Ken Ludwig productions in the area including Royal Coach Award-winning runs of Lend Me a Tenor and Leading Ladies here at Coach House. Baskerville will be presented May 11 to June 4. Curtain times are Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. with Sunday matinees at 2:30 p.m. Dinner or brunch is available to all theatre patrons prior to select performances, at the Akron Woman's City Club next door.
