Come Join Eden Valley on a Trail! Take trip on Ohio's Underground Railroad on Thursday, June 21, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. at the Buckeye Library, 6625 Wolff Rd. in Medina, Ohio. Hear about the runaway slaves and the people who helped them when we present NEXT STOP, FREEDOM! Ohio had more than 3,000 miles of Underground Railroad routes and there are almost as many stories. Emma Gatewood was the first woman to solo thru-hike the 2,050-mile Appalachian Trail in 1955 at the age of 67 after raising 11 children and surving domestic abuse!
