SHINING STAR CLE 2024 – 2 WEEKS LEFT TO SUBMIT AUDITIONS! Looking for high school solo singers who dream of singing before a live audience! Shining Star CLE<https://www.mandeljcc.org/shining-star-cle/mandeljcc/>, a Northeast Ohio favorite since 2017, is hosted by the Mandel JCC of Cleveland. This unique solo-singing competition affords 10 students and 2 alternates a chance to perform center stage at Playhouse Square in a competition for a total of $18,500 in college scholarships. Celebrity judges choose the top 4 singers. Then the audience along with the judges select the winner. * All genres of music are welcome and participation is free. * * Upload your audition video (3 minutes max) to https://shiningstarcle.submittable.com/submit * * Join us for THE FINALS on Sunday, September 22, 2024 • 7 pm at Playhouse Square * Competition open to high school students with a 2025 to 2028 graduation date and who live in Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit and Wayne counties, including homeschooled students. Piano accompaniment, personal instrument usage or a cappella are preferred, but recorded accompaniment is permitted.
