Confronted with unexpected realities, Martha Graham grapples with the triple threat of age, illness, and liquor…all of which are eroding her trail-blazing career and legacy. Over many ounces of Smirnoff and a chaser or two of Nietzsche, she questions her worth beyond the spotlight. This brief, cautionary tale – with generous amounts of humor and fiction – asks audiences to consider the frail, fickle lines between our dreams, passions and reality.
