*Resident Teaching Artist – Team Leader* *Center for Arts-Inspired Learning (Formerly Young Audiences)* The Center for Arts-Inspired Learning is hiring a Resident Teaching Artist – Team Leader to join the staff to facilitate school residencies, workshops and professional development. The Resident Teaching Artist – Team Leader will work to ensure the Center for Arts-Inspired Learning develops successful, effective and creative arts integration and educational programs throughout Northeast Ohio for a variety of learners. The Resident Teaching Artist – Team Leader will research and develop programs that are innovative, artistic and are connected to core subject matter. Artists will also gather data, document processes and participate in professional development as appropriate. The Team Leader will also supervise a team of five Resident Teaching Artists, conducting team meetings, setting goals, establishing professional growth plans, motivating the staff to collaborate and complete administrative tasks on time. The Center for Arts-Inspired Learning seeks to hire a Resident Teaching Artist – Team Leader with a minimum of two years teaching and/or arts administration experience with a concentration in Dance, Music, Visual and/or Digital Arts. Preferred candidates should have experience supervising staff.* This is a full-time, salaried position that includes benefits*. As a team, the resident artists will collaborate and develop innovative programming that delivers measurable impact, create professional development curriculum for educators and teaching artists, advocate for the organization and mission through outreach, community engagement, and represent the organization through events throughout the region. *Requirements * - Must have a college degree or equivalent experience in Dance, Music, Digital Arts, Fine Arts or Education - Experience producing or performing art form professionally - Extensive classroom teaching experience - Experience in developing and communicating arts curriculum - Experience as a manager - Excellent communication skills - Must have reliable transportation - Proficient computer skills - Candidate must successfully pass FBI and state of Ohio background checks *Compensation:* Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience of the candidate and highly competitive to what is being offered by similar organizations.
