Shining Star CLE<https://www.mandeljcc.org/shining-star-cle/mandeljcc/> is a unique solo-singing competition which gives 10 students and 2 alternates a chance to perform center stage at Playhouse Square in a competition for a total of $18,500 in college scholarships. Celebrity judges choose the top 4 singers. Then the audience along with the judges select the winner. This a Northeast Ohio favorite since 2017, is hosted by the Mandel JCC of Cleveland. * All genres of music are welcome and participation is free. * * Upload your audition video (3 minutes max) to https://shiningstarcle.submittable.com/submit * Competition open to high school students with a 2025 to 2028 graduation date and who live in Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit and Wayne counties, including homeschooled students. Audition videos must be submitted online before June 30, 2024 at 11:59 pm.
