A CHRISTMAS CAROL By Charles Dickens Adapted for the stage by Beth Knox A dramatic play with traditional Christmas Carols Direction & Musical Direction by Steve Parsons Artistic Producing Director: Josh Erichsen Production Manager: Breanna Antoniades Auditions: Saturday, October 21st, 2023 1-3pm Callbacks: TBD (if necessary) Rehearsals begin Monday, October 30th. Rehearsals will run Mondays - Fridays 6:30-10:00 PM Performance dates are December 8th – 17th. Fridays @ 7:30 PM, Saturdays @ 2:00 PM & 7:30 PM, Sundays @ 2:00 PM. There will be FOUR school matinees, December 12th, 13th, 19th, and 20th at 10:30am. School excuse forms will be provided. NON-TRADITIONAL CASTING WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR ALL ROLES Please prepare an engaging one minute monologue as well as one verse of a traditional Christmas carol, examples: God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, Silent Night. Please do not prepare a contemporary Christmas song, examples: Jingle Bells, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, etc. Please bring sheet music in the appropriate key. An accompanist will be provided.
