Today, the Board of Directors is proud to announce the formation of Cornerstone Community Theatre (CCT), a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing high-quality, accessible performing arts to the local community. Cornerstone Community Theatre was founded with a mission to provide a professional-grade platform for Urban storytelling and creative expression. Through the stage, CCT aims to foster local talent, engage the youth of Maple Heights and surrounding areas, and provide high-quality cultural experiences that resonate with our shared heritage and foundations. Led by a team of local artists and business leaders, CCT aims to fill a vital gap in the local arts scene by offering actors of all ages the opportunity to express themselves in a safe environment. As part of its commitment to community accessibility, CCT is also proud to announce a series of free improv acting classes. These classes will be held at local libraries. These workshops are designed specifically for ages 16 and up, providing a fun, high-energy introduction to spontaneous performance and ensemble building in a welcoming environment.
