What? Get Hep Swing presents - A Holiday Swing dance with three of your favorite DJs. When? Saturday, December 29th, 2018 Where? The Lithuanian Club, 877 E. 185th Street. The ballroom is on the second floor. Dance lessons? Yes. Please join us for an all levels Jitterbug lesson from 8-9. This month's instructors are Loreto Agdinaoay and Rachel Itsell. Is there a DJ or a band? This month three of your favorite DJs will provide the music for your Jitterbug, Lindy, Balboa, Charleston, Blues, Collegiate Shag, St. Louis Shag, and Carolina Shaggin. You may even hear a tune that is appropriate for a little Salsa, Foxtrot, or Waltz. Your featured DJs for this special Holiday Swing dance are- Bryan Hlavacek from 9-10 Rahel Itsell from 10-11 Loreto Agdinaoay from 11-12 Who may attend? EVERYONE is welcome! Do I need a partner? No, we rotate dance partners during the lesson. If you prefer not to rotate during the lesson, please help direct the other students past you each time we rotate. What do I wear? Wear shoes that allow you to pivot and turn easily. Some people find this floor a little slow so, wearing your leather soles or slippery soled shoes might be perfect. Most attendees will dress up for this special dance. Be impressive. Be confident. Be yourself. Wear what works for you and makes you feel good about yourself. What is the cost? $12 per person.
