- Snowed Inn Holiday Variety Show kicks off the Christmas season with a hearty dose of laughter, music, and good spirits on Thursday, November 29 at Forest City Brewery. Created by co-writers and co-hosts Marissa DeSantis and James Catullo, the original show pays homage to classic television specials of the past.

“Stars like Bing Crosby and John Denver hosted holiday specials where all of their talented friends would visit them in a cozy, decorated Christmas house,” says DeSantis. “Our show will have the same warm, spirited vibe.”

In the show, DeSantis and Catullo find themselves stranded in their Ohio mountain vacation cabin thanks to an unexpected winter storm. When they aren’t able to make it home for Christmas, their talented friends show up and bring the holiday to them.

Snowed Inn features guest performances by comedians Dionne Atchison and Sam Dee, and music from singer-songwriter Stephanie Trivison. The show includes a baking demonstration from Becca Ritterspach of Save Room Catering, and a crafts segment with Lora DiFranco of Free Period Press.

“We wanted the show to have a real variety feel with the types of segments you would see on TV but not necessarily on other Northeast Ohio stages,” says Catullo. “We’re excited for the group of guests we’ve got, and we might be saving a surprise or two as well.”

Tickets for the all-ages Snowed Inn Holiday Variety Show are available for $10 at the door.
