AUDITIONS TUESDAY, SEPT. 6 WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 7 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM KARAMU HOUSE 2355 E. 89th Street Cleveland, OH 44106 APPOINTMENTS For an appointment, please submit the following materials information to casting@karamuhouse.org: • a current headshot and up-to-date resume with accurate contact information • three preferred audition times • the SHOW(s) and ROLE(s) you would like to be considered for (see below for BREAKDOWNS) • your current status with Actors' Equity Association union (i.e. AEA/non-AEA) Performers of all ethnicities, gender identities, ages, as well as performers with disabilities are encouraged to attend every audition. If you are unable to attend the audition, please email your headshot and resume to casting@karamuhouse.org along with a request to submit a video audition. Please make note of your union status when submitting. All roles are available. PREPARATION Please prepare TWO short contrasting jazz or blues songs. Please be prepared to sing without piano accompaniment. Audition material should not exceed 3 minutes. Traditional holiday tunes with a “jazzy” or “bluesy” flair are a plus! Finally, please bring a recent headshot and resume (stapled together) to your audition time. COMPENSATION All actors receive compensation for their work in our productions. PRODUCTION DATES Rehearsals: November 11 – 30, 2017 Performances: December 1 – 17, 2017 ROLES Seeking up to four men and up to four women with a wide vocal and acting range. Comedic timing a plus. ###
