From the Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright of August: Osage County When his donut shop in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago is vandalized, Arthur Przybyszewski, an uninspired ex-hippie, seems indifferent. But when Franco Wicks, an African-American college student, enters Superior Donuts, both men are changed forever by the redemptive power of friendship.
