LCCC Holds First Civic Orchestra Concert for Season
LCCC Holds First Civic Orchestra Concert for Season The Civic Orchestra will hold its first concert of the year at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 10 at the Hoke Theatre at the Stocker Arts Center. The concert will include Samuel Coleridge-Taylor's "Petit Suite de Concert" and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Piano Concerto No. 24 in C minor, K. 491" with John Phillips as a featured soloist. Aaron Copland's "Rodeo" and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's "Capriccio Español, Op. 14" will also be included, under musical director Dr. Robert Beckstrom. Tickets are $9 for adults and $8 for LCCC students, staff and seniors 65 and up. Tickets are $7 for groups of 15 or more. Tickets can be purchased at stockerartscenter.com or by calling the Stocker Box Office at (440) 366-4040.
