Lakewood Young Filmmakers Academy Kids Film to Play at Brooklyn Film Festival!
Last year's 2019 Summer Camp Film, *The Lunch Bunch*, is an official selection at The Brooklyn Film Festival in Brooklyn, NY as part of their 16th annual KidsFilmFest Program. KFF aims to discover and promote children’s filmmakers as well as expose filmmakers of all ages who make films for younger crowds. All films are rated “G”. Both programs consist of several animated shorts, live-action films, and documentaries. This year the 16th KFF film programs will be staged completely online via the BFF website. Beginning May 29 through June 7 all the films will be available around the clock for FREE. The camp culminates in a Red Carpet Premiere of their film at The Capitol Theatre where their movie will be seen by a packed house of filmmakers, media, fans, friends and family. Lakewood Young Filmmakers Academy is a unique concept in after school programming. Founded and taught by award winning film and TV producers, LYFA is dedicated to offering a safe, structured environment where aspiring young artists can learn the basics of filmmaking, meet new friends, have fun and feel comfortable.
