*Baldwin Wallace University* *Faculty Position – Acting - Open Rank * The Department of Theatre and Dance <http://bw.edu/academics/undergraduate/theatre-acting-directing/> at Baldwin Wallace University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track open rank faculty position in Acting, beginning August 2016. The successful candidate will teach acting courses for BFA in Acting, BA in Theatre, and BM in Music Theatre students; teach additional courses in area of expertise (i.e., on-camera, stage combat, devised theatre, *commedia*, Alexander, etc.); recruit for the BFA in Acting; advise students; service on department and university-wide committees is expected. The Department of Theatre and Dance at Baldwin Wallace University offers a BA in Theatre (with three tracks: Acting/Directing, Stage Management, and Design), and will launch a BFA in Acting with an emphasis in classical drama in fall 2016 or 17 (accreditation pending). The department works closely with the Conservatory of Music’s nationally recognized Music Theatre program and Great Lakes Theater, Cleveland’s professional classical theatre company. *Qualifications: * MFA in Acting; minimum 3 years teaching at a college level; professional acting experience; proficiency in at least one vocal technique (i.e. Fitzmaurice, Linklater, Lessac, etc.); demonstrated track-record of working with students, colleagues, and community members with multicultural and intercultural perspectives related to acting.
