With a career that spanned 7 decades, few people have had an impact like Franklin. While it’s her musical legacy that she will be forever remembered, she has also left us with one truly great cinematic moment. As Mrs. Murphy in THE BLUES BROTHERS, she blew the roof off of the diner in one of the early moments of the film. The Cedar Lee Theatre (2163 Lee Rd., Cleveland Hts.) will present THE BLUES BROTHERS on Wednesday, August 22nd at 7:00 PM giving Clevelanders a chance to experience this classic comedy on the big screen. Packed with incredible music, including Franklin’s showstopper, “Think,” THE BLUES BROTHERS stars John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd as two brothers “on a mission from God” to save their Catholic orphanage in which they grew up. Tickets to see THE BLUES BROTHERS are $6 and are on sale at the Cedar Lee Theatre or online at clevelandcinemas.com. ###
