OPENING NIGHT HORS D'OEUVRES RECEPTION THIS FRIDAY AT "MAN OF LA MANCHA" Opening night guests will be treated to complimentary hors d'oeuvres in addition to the Spotlights' traditional dessert intermission. The show opens Friday, November 2 at 7:30 pm at the Broadview Heights Spotlights Theater, 9543 Broadview Road (next to police station). This brutal, hilarious, and heartbreaking musical, is an adaptation of the 17th-century novel, Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes.  While waiting in prison for a hearing with the Spanish Inquisition, Cervantes recruits his trusty side kick, Sancho Panza, and the rest of his fellow prisoners to act out the story of the "mad" knight Don Quixote. It celebrates the perseverance of a dying old man who refuses to give up his ideals or his passion. Shows are Friday and Saturday, November 2-17 at 7:30 PM and Sunday, November 11 at 3:00PM.
