I am a local Northeast Ohio independent filmmaker. I will be shooting a short film on October 10, 23, 24, 25. I am looking for actors who would like to be a part of my film. Looking to cast the parts this week! Please reply to email only ASAP! Do to the limited time from now till the shoot, we will not be holding auditions in the traditional sense. I am, however looking for headshots and demo reels if you have one. If I feel you fit my characters we will meet with you in person to discuss the project further. A bit about us and the project. We will be shooting the bulk of the film at a friend’s cabin down in West Virginia. The crew will be small, just me, my producer, and both of our wives. My producer’s family own about 50 acres of land in WV with two cabins on the property. It’s just across the border from Marietta. We will be basically camping in the cabin for a couple of days (No Electricity) so this would have to be something the talent is ok with. Probably a three hour drive from the NEO area. The rest of the film will be shot in the NEO area. We will be providing transportation to and from the site as well as all meals. The film is very low budget, so any talent will be unpaid. However we are extremely motivated to make something we can all be proud of. Being that I own a small production company, I have all of the professional filmmaking equipment to put on a professional production. We are reaching out to find professional actors because I believe they are the missing link to making this project great. We are looking to shoot around the Canton area the weekend of October 10th and the cabin in WV on October 23, 24, and 25th. Here is a film trailer I did a couple years ago. Will’s fiancé. Will – Late 20s, Average to tall height. Ben – Late 20s, Will’s brother. Average height. Playing an Autistic character.
