After high school she went on to graduate with a BA in dance from Loyola University Chicago. While in Chicago, she studied under professors who danced professionally with companies such as the Martha Graham Dance Company and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. She travelled to Havana, Cuba in 2016 to take classes at the National Arts School and work on a dance film, My Life Closed Twice. She performed in various historical pointe and modern pieces such as Grieg Concierto (Doris Humphrey), La Ventana (August Bournonville), and Laquita (Marius Petipa).
