Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) and the Wadsworth Public Library continue Live at the Library with singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist (guitar, mandolin, bass, harmonica, percussion, keys) Jerry Popiel on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at 2 pm at the Wadsworth Public Library, 132 Broad Street, Wadsworth, OH 44281. Jerry explores the high-water mark of classic singer/songwriters, performing hits and deeper cuts from the era’s luminaries such as James Taylor, Cat Stevens, Jim Croce, Simon & Garfunkel, Gordon Lightfoot, Dan Fogelberg, America and more. During that era, insightful folk-rock lyrics and inspired melodies ruled the airwaves in a way that later artists largely have not. Performed in an intimate solo acoustic guitar setting, Jerry brings those songs to life in an authentic and vibrant way. The program is free.
