Show Summary Neil Simon’s classic comedy opens as a group of the guys assemble for cards in the apartment of divorced Oscar Madison. And if the mess is any indication, it's no wonder that his wife left him. Late to arrive is Felix Unger, who has just been separated from his wife. Fastidious, depressed, and none too tense, Felix seems suicidal, but as the action unfolds, Oscar becomes the one with murder on his mind when the clean freak and the slob ultimately decide to room together with hilarious results as The Odd Couple is born. Audition Requirements Prepare *a 1-2 minute comedic monologue* from any play except *The Odd Couple* itself. Please bring a *CV* and, if available, a *headshot*. Come to the Breen Center on either Monday or Tuesday, August 28 or 29, between 3:30-6:00 pm. You will be given an audition slot. Callbacks, if needed, will be Thursday, August 31. Roles *Gwendolyn Pigeon (F):* A widow who was going through a divorce when her husband died. Lives upstairs with her sister Cecilia. Ditzy. A superficial man’s dream, but beneath her beauty lies a very sweet and nurturing woman. *Cecily Pigeon (F):* A divorcee who, like her sister, represents all of the qualities prized by the superficial man. Also a little air-headed, she is oblivious over the true power she has over men. Incredibly protective and loyal. Innocent.
