Details below: “Everything in Moderation” Character: Aunt Lisa: African American woman, age 45+; is going through cancer and needs a caretaker Synopsis: Kristen begins a new job as a work-from-home online moderator while moving in with her Aunt Lisa as a caretaker. The online moderation team shows us the complexities of dealing with inappropriate online content. Kristen is unsettled with her inability to help others, until she must decide if she will go out of her way to help a young girl in a dangerous situation nearby. Project Details: 15-min short film, independent production, non-union. Production will occur in Lakewood, Ohio from December 5-8. Auditions will occur online. Compensation in the form of a $100 honorarium for one day’s work. Team: Director & Producer Rick Schilling is an award-winning filmmaker and educator (CSU ‘12, Harvard EdM ‘13) who also has experience managing a team of online moderators.
