*Angry Ladies of Improv** present* *The Cleveland Improv Comedy Jam* *EAST SIDE Jam at Coffee Phix on SUNDAYS! NO COVER!* *Angry Ladies of Improv *improvisational comedy troupe has been hosting the *Cleveland Improv Jam* for over four years, and now announces that the free improv jam is in a new space and on a new night! The Cleveland Improv Jam is moving to the East Side for the first time in its history, to Coffee Phix coffee shop at 4485 Mayfield Road, South Euclid. Come play, drink, eat and laugh with the ladies and the Cleveland improv community. The jam is moving to *Sunday* night at 8:00 p.m. Coffee Phix can be reached at (216) 381-5705. * Angry Ladies of Improv* hosts this hilarious improv jam, open to those with improv experience or anyone who has watched the jam for a while and wants to play! 7:30 to sign up and play or 8:00 to watch! There is *NO COVER*, and light food and drinks are available. Typically there is a short-form set of improv games, and there is sometimes a longform improv set to end the night. The jam wraps up by 9:00 p.m. The Cleveland Scene's Elaine T. Cicora called *Angry Ladies of Improv* “fierce, formidable and very funny.” They have hosted the *Cleveland Improv Jam* as it moved through Lakewood locations of Bela Dubby, Sullivan's Pub and Mahall's. Most recently the jam was hosted for several months at both Guide to Kultur bookstore and Sachsenheim Hall, both in Cleveland, assisted by Crooked River Improv, which produces high-quality improv comedy with some of the best teams in the Cleveland region. James Catullo of Crooked River Improv notes, “The jam is a place for improvisers of all skill levels, experience, and background to meet and play together. It's the breeding ground for new ideas and teams to form and grow. An active jam is the bedrock of a healthy improv scene.” Members of *Angry Ladies of Improv *include: Dionne Atchison, Brenna “MC” Connor, Marjorie Preston and newest Angry Lady Katie White-Sonby. The troupe performs longform improvisational comedy at the *Cleveland Improv Jam*. They have also performed at CPT's Pandemonium, Big Dog Theater, and the Columbus Unscripted festival. Members of *Angry Ladies of Improv* have studied improv professionally in Chicago, Detroit, New York City and Northeast Ohio, including Cleveland and Oberlin. Katie White-Sonby is an actress who has performed at Clague Playhouse, Karamu and Kennedy's Cabaret. Marjorie Preston is an alumna of Something Dada and Rockwell 9 improvisational comedy troupes.
