Hello All, *Many of you may know Beks Roen from their time in Cleveland, working with Great Lakes Theatre, and having other adventures, in Northeast Ohio** “Beks Roen (they/he) helps queer folks and allies find *adventurous connection* & remember they're *loved and not alone* through queer theatre & Shakespeare” (from their website, more information here <https://beksroen.org/about> ) I am excited to announce I am helping them obtain funding from the LGBTQ+ Opportunity Fund <https://www.clevelandfoundation.org/philanthropy-giving/ways-to-give/affinity-funds/lgbtq-opportunity-fund> to return to Northeast Ohio in 2027. We are in the early stages of planning. We will be asking for funding to support 16 performances involving 26 local artists in multiple disciplines. **Here is how YOU can help:* · We are looking for venues, nontraditional is ok. They like to wander through the audience and interact. · We are looking for production staff to help bring the performances to life. You will be compensated! · We are looking to collaborate and partner with like-minded organizations and individuals to participate in post-performance talkbacks.
