Details: When it comes to longform improvisation, how you start is important. If you put in the work up top, you won’t find yourself struggling to invent things later on. In this four hour longform improv intensive, students will focus on: -Organic initiations - finding the first unusual/funny thing in a scene and building upon it with your scene partner -Playing the game of the scene - finding and heightening patterns from the first unusual/funny thing -Pulling information from monologues -Constructing solid premise based initiations based on information from monologues ...plus focused coaching and feedback from your instructor. Students should have a basic understanding or education/experience with longform improv. Space for this intensive is very limited; register early to guarantee seating.
