WUAL:  CALL forPlaywrights and Creative Writers Competition  (Please share with your actors, performing artists, students, creative writers) Seeking playwrights /creative writers for special, inspirational “Miracles, Magic and Makeovers”  project.   Rationale:  Watch the local and national news. Read theInternet. The media do not seem to address solutions to problems the communityand country continue to face.  The mediaseem to perpetuate and exacerbate society’s negative issues by broadcasting andmagnifying society’s “uglies.” There is growingevidence that community members and the general public seem to be  tired, agitated and frustrated with theconditions.  However, they do not seem toknow what to do or how to counteract the negative energies and be able tocontribute what they can to effect positive change within themselves, theirfamilies and neighborhood. “A Brand New WUALDay!
