CONVERGENCE-CONTINUUM WILL HOLD AUDITIONS FOR THE ROLE OF GABRIEL ANGELFOOD (male 20’s, 30’s) in The Reckless Ruthless Brutal Charge of It, or, THE TRAIN PLAY --- THIS THURS, APRIL 30 at 7 pm and SAT, MAY 2 at 11 am. The production, directed by con-con’s Artistic Director, Clyde Simon, will open Fri, June 26 and run Thurs-Sat at 8 pm thru July 18. A brief synopsis is below: Late at night somewhere in America, on a train hurtling towards infinity, eight strangers meet. A twelve-year-old with the powers of a comic book heroine manipulates time and the lives of a jaded Earth Goddess, an unraveling physicist fleeing a terrifying truth she’s only glimpsed, an man (Gabriel Angelfood) on the lam from predatory angels, a reluctant travel writer and three Russian brothers on a musical mission. While they ride, the destruction of the universe looms as they speed along a comic-poetic collision course with time, history, and a supernatural climax. Auditions will consist of readings from the script, at convergence-continuum’s performance space, The Liminis Theater, 2438 Scranton Rd, Cleveland 44113, in the historic Tremont neighborhood.
