*PAID POSITION, MALE ACTOR - FOR A SHORT TERM VIDEO SERIES* We are hiring a* black or latino male actor, ages 21-35,* for our educational video series, partnered with MetroHealth Hospital. This project, ordinarily in-person, is called The S.A.F.E. Project, (*S*tudents *A*re *F*ree to *E*xpress). It aims to eliminate toxic stress in students through art. The actor must be comfortable performing *slam/spoken word poetry*. *Details: * - This is a *PAID* position - Poetry must be memorized and some of it will have a beat attached. - Perform the intro and outro for a total of 6 - 16 short videos - 2 - 4 remote rehearsals (via Zoom) - 1 - 3 filming dates in late September - early October (with a videographer and director, socially distanced) - One live (or recorded) Zoom info session for students, with other socially-distanced artists (details TBD) - Portions of a line dance must also be learned and will be recorded *Please film a video of yourself* performing either a spoken word poem that has *rhyme and rhythm* or a rap, *twice*-- once with a beat and once without. In addition, let us know if you have any conflicts between September 21st - October 12. You can send it to us as a video file, or a private YouTube link, along with your resume and 2 references.
