FREE Full Circle Storytelling Open Mic on Thursday, November 20 presented by Wandering Aesthetics and Goodyear Branch Library
Embrace the spirit of community and join us for this intimate storytelling event.
Full Circle Storytelling revolves around the belief that everyone has a story, and those stories are worth telling. Attendees can sign up to tell a true story inspired (or not!) by the evening’s prompt or participate by simply listening. All are welcome, no experience necessary.
Since this FREE event takes place at a library and is open to people of all ages, language and content of stories should be no stronger than PG-13. (Basically: nothing your mama wouldn’t want to hear.) There’s no minimum length for stories (but should be no longer than 5 - 7 minutes) and they can range from heart wrenching to hysterical – and anything in-between!
THE EVENING’S PROMPT: Family Folklore
FEATURED STORYTELLER: Katie Beck DATE & TIME: November 20, 2025 at 6:30 PM LOCATION: Goodyear Branch Library (60 Goodyear Blvd in Akron, OH)
MISSION: Storytelling is more than just entertainment—it’s a powerful tool for healing and self-discovery. By sharing true experiences, participants place themselves at the heart of their own journeys. These narratives nurture understanding and connection across diverse perspectives, building bridges- not walls- within our community.
