Auditions for LONG AFTER CRYSTAL NIGHT Written by John Herman Shaner Directed by Carol Jaffee Pribble Chagrin Valley Little Theatre Monday and Tuesday, March 30 and 31 at 7:00 PM Set in a Beverly Hills Jewish household in 1983, this compelling drama plunges a family into an emotionally charged weekend when their patriarch attends a community meeting in which members of the Jewish Defense League are requesting an opportunity to speak at his B’nai Brith lodge where they plan to encourage members to stage a protest at a Nazi rally scheduled to occur in their community. With both humor and emotion, LONG AFTER CRYSTAL NIGHT challenges its characters to question the depth of their convictions and their personal courage in the face of difficult choices.
