Dear Subscribers, The purpose of my forwarding the Heather Cox Richardson essay yesterday was to help define the stakes for our Arts Scene, and Country, with the choice of candidates in the upcoming election. The vast majority (around 10:1 ratio) of you that replied privately to me, or who posted to the list, were supportive of that. Some were not supportive and accused me of flaming, or found the post offensive or disgusting. Or, that it goes against the purpose of the list. In the Neohiopal mission statement one of the stated purposes is "*to provide an easy way for performing artists to hear about goods, services and topics that may be of interest." *This topic certainly was "of interest" to artists.
