Beck Center will hold auditions for Tennessee William's THE GLASS MENAGERIE employing both in-person appointments and video submissions. Esteemed local NE Ohio director Thomas Q. Fulton will direct the project which will feature Derdriu Ring in the role of Amanda Winfield. In-Person auditions for the remaining three roles will be held BY APPOINTMENT between the hours of 5PM and 7PM on Monday, June 24th and Tuesday, June 25th. Video submissions will be accepted through Noon on Tuesday, June 25th and should be emailed to Beck Center Artistic Director at Scotts@beckcenter.org For either in-person or video auditions, please prepare a brief (90 seconds or less) dramatic monologue of your choice. The director will also have a few options to read at the in-person audition should you not have something prepared and available. Callback dates have not yet been set, but will not be long after the open calls. Video callbacks ARE an option for those unable to make it to town for callback dates. Please know that housing cannot be provided for any performer participating in this production. You must have local housing available to you to be considered. It is anticipated that one additional AEA contract will be available. Non AEA performers receive a stipend for their participation. AEA performers in the Studio Theatre are through the Special Appearance Agreement. THE GLASS MENAGERIE opens on Oct. 4th and closes Nov. 3rd. Performances are Fri/Sat evening and Sun. afternoons only.
