Vignette #1 “Shortwave”: During his weekly late-night talk radio show, Alan receives a mysterious call from a disturbed man named Kevin. As they talk, Alan tries to figure out if Kevin actually has information about dark goings on in Arcadia, or if he’s just a lonely kook.Vignette #2 “Arcadia Homeowners’ Association”: Charlie, the overbearing President of a suburban neighborhood association, attempts to ensure that his neighbors are following the Homeowners’ Association handbook to the letter.Character BIOS“Shortwave”[ALAN] [GENDER: MALE] [ETHNICITY: WHITE] [AGE: 40-65]A deep-voiced independent radio host. Feels things deeply and doesn’t think much. About Us and the ProjectWe’re both graduates of Case Western Reserve University who are now studying filmmaking at Tri-C. Our goal is to produce character-focused shorts that can serve as professional-grade additions to both our reel and yours. All the shorts will be self-contained but set in the shared universe of ‘Arcadia’ and certain characters may recur.
