Charles Dickens, appears as the narrator of this tale and takes the audience along each scene as the story of Ebenezer Scrooge unfolds. The play is framed by a choir of young carolers singing Christmas carols telling the famous tale of finding one’s humanity and the true meaning of Christmas. *Character Breakdown:* *NARRATOR: *Charles Dickens (the likeness of him in character) *EBENEZER SCROOGE*: A miserly, money-hungry businessman *BOB CRATCHIT:* Scrooge’s clerk *FRED:* Scrooge’s nephew *TINY TIM:* The lame son of the Cratchits *MRS. CRATCHIT:* Bob Cratchit’s wife *JACOB MARLEY:* Scrooge’s business partner who died seven years ago *MR. FEZZIWIG:* Scrooge’s first employer *MRS.
