Perch Productions presents: Cleveland State University School of Film & Media Arts, Senior Thesis short film. “The Little Monster” Family Friendly Logline: When a family is left to deal with their grandfather's passing, a mystical discovery brings two brothers together. CHARACTERS: Malakai: African American male. Age 9-13 Protagonist. The spunky little brother who isn’t afraid to let his imagination run wild. Maurice: African American male. Age 15-17 (open to adult actors) The big brother. He tries to be all grown up, but he can't always escape his inner child. Lisa: African American female. Age 40-55. The monster of the two boys, and the daughter of Grandpa. She keeps a strong head on her shoulders, but is dwindling as she deals with the loss of her father.
