Lewis Sunday April 23, 6:00-9:00PM Monday April 24, 6:30-9:00PM Callbacks as needed April 25 in the evening Performances Friday-Sunday August 4-20 Rehearsals will begin in mid June and run Sunday-Thursday. Not everyone will be called every day, but please bring a list of ALL conflicts from 1pm to 9pm June 12-August 3. Rehearsals will be EITHER in afternoon or evening, not both in the same day. Times will not be determined until after casting and will be decided based on cast availability, so if you are NOT available in either the afternoon or evening, please note that. This is to work around as many of the Chardon conflicts as possible including marching band and other GLTG summer shows. All conflicts need to be reported before casting. AGES 13-21 ARE ELIGIBLE TO AUDITION A vibrant community in New York’s Washington Heights neighborhood – a place where the coffee from the corner bodega is light and sweet, the windows are always open and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. It’s a community on the brink of change, full of hopes, dreams and pressures, where the biggest struggles can be deciding which traditions you take with you, and which ones you leave behind. IN THE HEIGHTS is the winner of the 2008 Tony Awards for Best Musical, Best Score, Best Choreography and Best Orchestrations. All, please prepare 16 bars of a Lin-Manuel Miranda song from any of his shows (something from In the Heights is acceptable). Men, interested in Usnavi, Benny, Sonny or Graffiti Pete, please also prepare 30-60 seconds of a rap.
