ROMO Films presents: “Ben and Teddy” Coming of Age Synopsis/Logline: An outcast boy struggles to make friends with his classmates, until one day he finds friendship from the most unlikely of things, a small turtle. CHARACTERS: Ben[Lead, Male, 10-13]: A young, outcasted boy who has a hard time talking to people and only wants one thing, a friend. He is very sensitive and has a creative side to him. He is always drawing something. Noah[Supporting, Male, 10-13]: The new kid that comes to town. He’s outgoing and likes to talk to people. He’s a little weird, but he has a certain charm to him that makes him stand out. Extras[age: 10-13 years old]: 5-8 Boys, 2-6 Girls Narrator: [Supporting, Male, 50-80]: Has a very deep and soothing voice. He is the storyteller of the story. Mom(Marissa)[Supporting, Female, 35-40]: A very caring and nurturing woman. She cares for her son deeply and will do anything to make him happy. She’s a single mother with a low-paying job, but she takes on parenthood like a champion. DETAILS: We estimate that shooting will begin to take place in February as of right now.
