*WHAT: **Les Liaisons Dangereuses*, by Christopher Hampton *WHERE: *Weathervane Community Playhouse in Akron *PERFORMANCE DATES: *Thursdays-Sundays, May 3rd-20th, 2018 *AUDITION DATES: *Sunday, January 21st and Monday, January 22nd from 7-9 PM. Callbacks, if necessary, will be held on Tuesday, January 23rd. *SEEKING:* - 4 men (20s to 50s), any race or ethnicity - 6 women (20s to 70s), any race or ethnicity - actors / actresses who are good with language, have experience with period plays, or possess stage combat experience *WHAT TO PREPARE: *Please either prepare a 2-3 minute monologue that best showcases your skills, or sides from the script will be available if you'd like to do a cold reading. If you choose the latter, please be familiar with the play. A script is available online at the theatre's website. *REHEARSALS: *We'll begin rehearsing in late February and have a fairly traditional rehearsal schedule (4-5 night a week) for about 4 weeks into March. Ideally, these rehearsals will be Sunday afternoons and Monday-Thursday evenings. In April, rehearsals will be more infrequent (1-2 times a week) to run the show, spot check, and keep it maintained.
