Auditions for “If/Then” Monday, August 18 from 6:30PM - 9:30PM Tuesday, August 19 from 6:30PM to 9:30PM With unforgettable songs and a deeply moving story by the Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning creators of Next to Normal (Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey), this rarely-produced musical is a fascinating, ambitious and original musical that ran on Broadway in 2014 starring Idina Menzel. Auditions will be held by appointment on Monday, August 18 from 6:30PM - 9:30PM and Tuesday, August 19 from 6:30PM to 9:30PM. Please arrive 15-minutes prior to your scheduled time to complete an audition form. No Equity contracts are available for this show. Callbacks if necessary, will occur the evening of Thursday, August 21. A dance call may be scheduled on Saturday, August 23 based on need/availability. Rehearsals will begin the week of September 1. The show runs November 8 - 23. The show will be directed by Tim Anderson, music directed by Ryan Bergeron, and choreographed by Reilly Davidson. Those auditioning should: - Plan to attend only one day of auditions. - Be familiar with the show and its music, language, and themes. - Prepare two one-minute, contrasting songs (one up-tempo, one ballad), at least one of these should be a folk/rock song in the style of the show. - Bring sheet music in the correct keys, hole-punched in a three-ring binder. Singers will not be permitted to sing a cappella. - Bring a list of conflicts between September 1 and November 22.
