East Cleveland Theater is hosting auditions for “The Penultimate Problem of Sherlock Holmes”, by John Nassivera. *Director: Michael Lenzo* Winner of three 2017 Broadway World Awards, including Best Director, Best Scenic Design, and Best Sound Design. *Synopsis:* Sherlock Holmes, to debunk the mystical world, invites a leading psychic to his house to conduct a seance. Sherlock, in his fashion, can explain away all the spirits that manifest themselves but one ... Arthur Conan Doyle himself, the creator of Sherlock Holmes. *The Roles:* (Ages listed are somewhat flexible.) *Dr Watson**: *Male, 40s to 50s Sherlock Holmes sidekick. *Arthur Conan Doyle**: *Male, 30s An author, and creator of Sherlock Holmes. *Professor James Moriarty**: *Male, 40s to 50s Sherlock Holmes arch nemesis, and whose assignment is to kill Sherlock Holmes. *Inspector Lestrade**: *Male, 30s to 40s An inspector of Scotland Yard, he is there to protect the psychic, Mrs. Piper. *Mrs. Hudson**: *Female, 40s to 60s Sherlock Holmes landlord, and a character in most scenes. *Audition Dates:* *Auditions are by appointment only.* Wednesday, January 17, from 5 to 6pm. Friday, January 19, from 5:30 to 7pm. Sunday, January 21, from 12 to 1pm. Sunday, January 21, from 6:30 to 8:30pm. Only those roles listed are available. All ethnicities considered, and the stated age ranges can be somewhat flexible. Auditioners should be prepared to read from the script.
