Zurkey. The chorus will be accompanied by pianist Michelle Mauklauf. The concert will take place at 3.00 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Avon Lake UCC Church, located at 32801 Electric Boulevard, Avon Lake, Ohio, 44012. The concert’s theme, “American Reflections,’’ mirrors the story of our country’s struggles and triumphs, and how America has earned its treasured motto: “The Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave.” You will enjoy selections from American composers including Aaron Copland, Morten Lauridsen, Jake Runestad, Williametta Spencer, Shawn Kirchner, plus selections from well-known Broadway musicals and African-American Spirituals.
