The Olde Towne Hall Theatre’s Youth Theatre proudly presents, “Shrek! The Musical!” Opening night is Friday, December 4th at 7:30 p.m. and runs Saturday, December 5th at 7:30 p.m. with a Sunday matinee on December 6th at 2:00 p.m. Director, Sharon Godsey, brings us the story of a hulking green ogre who, after being mocked and feared his entire life, retreats to an ugly green swamp to exist in happy isolation. One day, a gang of homeless fairy tale characters raid his sanctuary, claiming they have been evicted by Lord Farquaad. Shrek strikes a deal! He’ll get them their homes back if they give him his home back….when Shrek and Farquaad meet, the Lord says he’ll give the fairy tale creatures their homes back if Shrek rescues Princess Fiona.
