Solon Center for the Arts located at 6315 Som Center Road in Solon Ohio is offering their Musical Theater Workshop 5 week camp this summer! Ms. Kris Ferencie from Solon High School will be back directing. All students who register will receive roles distributed during camp. Students will go through an audition process, play games, rehearse choreography and music and learn about theater as they prepare for a full length musical show (1 hour) at the end of the camp. Open to 2nd going into 3rd graders through 8th going into 9th graders! No streaming or broadcasting will take place. SCA Theater is open to our capacity size again of 200 seats per show. Tickets will be $7 each and available to purchase this summer. Lastly I’d like to announce that this summer’s show will be…. *FLAT STANLEY JR!!!!* *SYNOPSIS:* The beloved children's book written by Jeff Brown is a literary and pop culture phenomenon, delighting readers all around the world. And now, everyone's favorite two-dimensional hero has a new life in *The Musical Adventures Of Flat Stanley JR*. Filled with infectious songs and non-stop adventure, Stanley Lambchop is your ordinary, everyday ten-year-old until the bulletin board on the wall above his bed comes loose and falls right on top of him. The next morning, Stanley wakes up flat. In a whirlwind musical travelogue, Stanley — the ultimate exchange student — scours the globe for a solution to his unusual problem.
