Good evening! My name is Katie Unger, and I'm the Managing Director of the Academy for Dramatic Arts (AFDA), based in Olmsted Falls. We are currently seeking an Assistant Stage Manager to join our production of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical. The position would require coming in 1 day a week to learn under our Stage Manager, leading up to tech week. They will then need to be present for all of tech week and the 8 total performances. Rehearsals take place on Sundays from 3-6 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-8:30 p.m. You will work with the Stage Manager to determine your schedule. Tech week begins Sunday, November 2, from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. and runs from Monday, November 3, to Thursday, November 6, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Our first performance is scheduled for the evening of Friday, November 7, with two additional performances on Saturday and a matinee show on Sunday. This show schedule will repeat the following weekend, on *F*riday, November 14, and continue until strike following our Sunday, November 16, performance.
