After his death, he was given a job escorting other deceased to the next life. Sixty years later, he meets with Ernest, an old friend from the 50s who’s recently perished. The two chat about the horrors, beauty and connectedness of life as well as Arthur’s long-lost love Maria. A Rose For Maria is a Fantasy Drama in the likes of The Green Mile, Meet Joe Black, and The Sixth Sense, taking place partially in the present and partially in the 1950s.
