BorderLight Festival seeks part-time Engagement & Advancement Manager
The <http://www.borderlightcle.org/> BorderLight Festival seeks a part-time Engagement & Advancement Manager. The position covers the overlapping areas of marketing communications, engagement, and development work. This staff member will work closely with the two co-directors of the festival, as well as with sub-contractors, vendors and seasonal staff according to the festival cycle. * Marketing: primary staff contact supervising marketing, website, and social media subcontractors for the festival. During the off-season, will serve as the communications/marketing lead for the organization, including press/media relations, content creation and brand promotion. * Engagement: work with the BorderLight team to identify and develop new audiences for the festival, while actively supporting and reporting on the organization's audience development and community engagement goals as we aim to create a more diverse, equitable and inclusive festival. * Advancement: assist with sponsorships, donor/patron database management, development communications, sponsor/donor recognition, benefits tracking, and board engagement efforts. Terms: Part-time position from February 1, 2022, with longer hours and pro-rated pay during biennial festival season. Much of the job can be done in hours of the individual's choosing, apart from some meetings. Job is often remote. Must be more flexible during biennial festival season (April-July). Part time base pay is $19,000 per year, averaging approximately 80 hours/month.
