Monthly Old-Time Music Jam
Join us each month for an informal old-time jam session at The Music Settlement's Ohio City campus as we learn and share folk tunes by ear. This music is the kind you might hear at square dances or contra dances. Everyone is welcome -- bring your instrument! Open to fiddle/violin, viola, cello, double bass, banjo, guitar, mandolin and dulcimer (mountain or hammer). Musicians should have at minimum some experience and familiarity with their instrument. This program is free of charge, but donations are welcome! All donations will support the mission of The Music Settlement and the talented team who coordinates these events. Jam sessions take place the third Wednesday of every month from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Registration is required as space is limited. To register, please visit www.TheMusicSettlement.org/OldTimeJam <http://www.themusicsettlement.org/OldTimeJam?fbclid=IwAR2aVJ39xKGIK6I8zmnPjyjQtsINQZMmOj6obBioYG49bpHAn_Xi5Xnm05s> .
