TrueNorth Cultural Arts Summer Theatre Camps are starting soon. Offering camps for all ages and levels of experience. All camps take place in TrueNorth’s new facility located in Avon Lake. Highlights include a 1,200 sq ft dance studio, visual arts studios, theatre arts classroom and private music studios. ______________________ CAMP INFO: Overture Summer Theatre Camp (PreK - Kindergarten) June 11th - June 22nd; 10:00am -12:00pm Fee $160 per student ($145 for TNCA Members) Theme: “Don’t Worry Be Happy - Hawaiian Luau” Aloha! TrueNorh is excited to offer an enriching theatre experience for your young actor. Campers will learn basic acting skills, as well as how to use their bodies, voices and imaginations to create exciting characters. Spotlight Summer Theatre Camp (1st grade and up) June 11th - 29th; 9:00am -12:30pm Fee $360 per student ($345 for TNCA Members) Theme: “Junie B. Jones-The Musical” Sneak a peek into the “Top Secret Personal Beeswax Journal” of the outspoken and lovable Junie B. Jones! It’s Junie B.’s first day of first grade, and a lot of things have changed for her: Junie’s friend, Lucille, doesn’t want to be her best pal anymore and, on the bus, Junie B. makes friends with Herb, the new kid at school. Also, Junie has trouble reading the blackboard and her teacher, Mr. Scary, thinks she may need glasses. Throw in a friendly cafeteria lady, a kickball tournament and a “Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal,” and first grade has never been more exciting. Summer Intensive Theatre Camp (Ages 10 - 18) July 8th - August 13th; 4:00pm - 9:30pm Fee $315 per student ($300 for TNCA Members) “Disney’s Newsies” Be a part of TrueNorth’s production of Disney’s NEWSIES. As a youth cast member you will be enrolled in the Summer Intensive which will provide 60+ hours of professional instruction and Master Classes in Music, Dance and Theatre, taught by Northeast Ohio professional artists.
